Day 1: Puerto Montt

Board Skorpios II in the morning for a noon departure from Puerto Montt. Cruise through the Llanquihue archipelago and catch a glimpse of Calbuco city along the way as you navigate through the Ancud Gulf. Late afternoon arrive at Quemchi where you can disembark onto boats at this picturesque Chilote village. You can visit the local craft market, wander through the streets, stop at a coffee shop and visit the town museum. Later continue sailing through the spectacular Chiloe archipelago before crossing the Corcovado Gulf around midnight.

Day 2: Puerto Aguirre - Punta Leopardos

In the morning you will sail through the Moraleda and Ferronave channels towards Puerto Aguirre, where upon arrival you can visit this quaint fishing village navigating the pretty streets and exploring the paths through rainforest. Back on board you continue sailing through the Ferronave, Pilcomayo and Costa channels, absorbing the ever-changing scenery while relaxing on the sun deck or from the comfort of one of the lounges. The ship will anchor south at Caleta Quesahuen or Punta Leopardos, 20 nautical from the San Rafael Glacier.

Day 3: San Rafael Glacier

Early risers will be mesmerised by the magnificent views as you cross the San Rafael Lagoon entrance and Tempanos channel. At 9am Skorpios II enters the Lagoon for anchorage about 2km away from the majestic San Rafael Glacier - a highlight of this trip. Weather permitting you will be able to go on an excursion by motorboat among the multi-coloured icebergs and be enchanted by the tranquility and harmony of this peaceful lagoon. In the afternoon, Skorpios II draws closer and closer to the Glacier so you can admire the ancient ice spectacle for one last time before setting sail for the Quitralco fjord.

Day 4: Quitralco Fjord

This morning Skorpios II moors at the Quitralco, known for its immaculate natural beauty and rejuvenating thermal baths. It is worth noting that these hotsprings are exclusive to guests travelling on the Skorpios II and III. After breakfast, you can soak in the indoor or outdoor hot springs, and, weather permitting, walk in the paths cleared in the forest, join an excursion by motorboat through the narrow channels of the fjord and share a Patagonian barbecue. Return to the ship and set sail for Chiloe in the evening by navigating through the Moraleda and Perez Norte channels.

Day 5: Chiloe

This morning the ship will sail through Leucayec channel, where you will have a partial view of Melinka in the Chonos archipelago, once a shelter for pirates! Cross the Corcovado Gulf where depending on the weather conditions you may see humpback whales and blue whales. The ship will continue to sail through the oriental coast of Chiloe Island arriving at Islote Conejos located in the Queilen channel. Disembark onto boats and observe the surrounding area home to Lemuy and Chelin islands. At 5pm arrive at Dalcahue and disembark to visit the town where you may visit the handicraft market, church and stroll the promenade.
